Verse of the Day

Only a fool despises a parent's discipline; whoever learns from correction is wise.

Proverbs 15:5

 

This scripture goes well with the 5th commandment :“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you."

If you see GOD is very serious about Honoring your parents. Listening to them, loving them, following their rules. But also, you can look at it as GOD is our heavenly father and therefore we must obey him. We must read scripture and follow it and apply it to our daily lives so that we may be lead always in the right direction. So that we may be WISE!
