It is so easy for us to be distracted by the things of this world. Money, Cars, Luxuries, Love, Fame etc. Don't get me wrong these are not bad things to strive for, but when the desire to strive for those things become more than your desire to draw closer to GOD and fulfull his work then thats when you are not Fit for the Kingdom of God. I am definitley not perfect and have found myself distracted more than once. Again we are human but that is not an excuse. We have to look inside ourselves and clean out those things that are UN-GODLY and Pray for God to cleanse us on a daily basis. To guide us in the right direction. To help us keep our eyes on the narrow road that leads to rightousness. Because throughout the day we can find ourselves steering away from the narrow road to follow the wide road that leads to distruction. And because that road is so wide we can tend to find ourselves following it more and more on a daily basis.
BUT NO MORE! We must fight the temptations that this World so openly wants to give us. We must take our eyes off ourselves and focus on GOD and the needs of those around us so that we may be called "Fit for the Kingdom of God."
