POPbeauty Makeup Kit from Victorias Secret

Okay first of all, Please excuse the ugly picture above. lol. Okay so I just received this in the mail Yesterday. I ordered it online on Victoriassecret.com. It is a POPbeauty Cabaret bouquet makeup kit. I saw it and instantly fell in love. So shown above on the left side in the pull out drawer is the Bronzer, then up top on the left side is your eye shadows/eyeliner. All the eye shadows are shimmery. There is black, purple, blue, turquoise, and grey. Then in the middle is one mattefying powder. And on the right are five beautiful highlighters. Then on the right pull out drawer are 4 glamorous lip duos. I AM ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE WITH THIS KIT. Its shimmery, and classic, stunning and glamorous! It was on sale for $15.00. Models come in Small Packages too

This weekend was such a busy weekend for my family and I. I felt like we were non stop all weekend. With Christmas eve parties, and then Christmas day we opened presents with my daughter at my house, then went straight to my moms house then to my husbands moms house then to his cousins house for dinner. And Saturday I was up in Victorville visiting more of my family all day until about 8:30/9:00pm. Saunday Church in the morning then hit the stores up. Boy do I need a vacation after that weekend. lol.

Oh man my daughter is funny. She loves to pose. All I have to do is tell her I am going to take a picture of her to say cheese and she is always Camera Ready! I took this hilarious picture of her at Old navy while she saw all the manicans she decided to stand in the middle of them and pose too. I swear she blended in haha. For some reason it wouldnt let me save the picture to my desktop but trust me when I say, Its the cutest and funniest picture ever. I swear everyone tells me I should put her in modeling for print ads. But I figure if it's God's will then someone will discover her when we least expect it! If not thats okay too because I was still blessed with a beautiful daughter who can model for me anyday! Okay well just thought Id share the pictures with you. Christmas Eve Look

Christmas is coming fast and today is CHRISTMAS EVE! I think I get more excited for Christmas eve than the actual Christmas day. One, because there are usually Christmas Eve gatherings with Friends and family and Two, We get to give them their gifts from us and see how grateful everyone is and how much they love them. Again its not all about the presents but me and my husband LOVE to give. It gives us great joy to be able to help those in need because we are so blessed to have everything we need. God has been very good to us and we are eternally grateful. He will never leave nor forsake those who are faithful to him and love him. Well as you can see the pictures above show my Christmas eve outfit, hair and makeup. I do have to work today so the pictures shown are taken at work that's why the lighting is pretty bad and plus it is taken with the camera on my phone. So give me a break! lol :) So I curled my hair with my new straightener my husband bought me for Christmas. Its one of those 1 inch straighteners that straightens, flips and curls! I don't know what I ever did without it! lol I only had it for a couple of days haha. And for my makeup I did the taupe eyeshadow I showed on a previous blog and check this, the red lip color I have on my lips is actually a mixture of Red and Black eyeshadow. I don't own a red lipstick because I always felt with my lips being full that I looked like a clown with red on. But, now a days I'm kind of diggin the red. So I added Coastal Scents red eyeshadow over my bare lips and then added a little bit of black to deepen the red and then put some lip gloss over it and bam! I created my own red lipstick! Its fun to be creative with makeup. Remember, you can use most makeup in many different ways. Sometimes I will even use my eyeshadow as a blush or a highlight. Work with what you got! Then for my outfit I am wearing a black halter top with gold sparkles on it and over it I am wearing a lace see through short sleeve shirt that ties on the left side by the neck. I am also wearing a black blazer folded to just under the elbow. Match that up with some dark wash skinny jeans and some black booties and I am set! Cant forget the Red nail polish shown on my China Glaze blog. During this season remember to spend time with your friends and family. Make memories that will last a life time. Its always those things not caught on camera that you remember and cherish the most. If you have done wrong to someone this year make it right and apologise and ask for forgiveness. or if you have been hurt, forgive. God loves a forgiving heart. Don't hold back your blessing by holding a grudge. Let it go and let by gones be by gones. Forgive yourself also. Tip to Spice up the OLD HOOP earing

As you can see I have two ear hole piercings. Now I usualy always wear a hoop earing. Its been my trait since JR. High School. Don't know why but it has. Well now that Im getting older I still love my Hoops dont get me wrong but I want to spice things up a bit. So I have learned to be creative! And by that I mean utalizing my second ear piercing to do so. This has been the new thing for me now a days. Take my Hoop earing and place it in the first piercing and take a piece like the one shown above and place it in the second piercing. Now when I have my hair down and in front of my ear it looks like one earing. Ive been really digging thedangling earings, leaves and feather earings. I think next I will buy me a peacock feather earing and put that in the secong piercing to add some funk to it all. If you have two piercings I encourage you to try it. Be creative. CHINA GLAZE Mini Haul

So I went to Sallys Beauty Supply this weekend and picked up a couple of items. I got some hair dye, a flat iron (My Christmas present from my HUBBY which i deperatley needed) and two China Glaze nail polishes. Now I have never owned a china glaze nail polish before but have read alot of good things about them and saw a lot of you tube videos raving about them so i thought i would check them out. Well luckily the nail polishes were 2 for $10.00 at Sallys so I bought two. The first one I got is "Heart of Africa" which is the deep red shown above. The second color I got is "Your Touch" which is the soft peachy gold color. Please excuse my hands as I have manly hands but I posted pictures of the colors on my nails for a better idea of how they look out of the bottle. I thought these were perfect for this Season. I actually am very impressed with the ware of these polishes. I put the colors on yesterday without a top coat and it is still on my fingers today. Usually my nail polish would be all chipped already. Seeing that I washed dishes and took a long shower yesterday with this nail polish on its still running strong. Loving them! Do you like my ring? light Shimmer Taupe and Black eyeshadow

Hello so today I am wearing a Light Shimmery Taupe color with Black on the outside. First I put on my Painterly eyeshadow primer all over the eye area. Then I added Loreal Cream Shadow paint on top in commanding on top just over the lid. Then I got a blending brush and added Cover Girl Taupe eyeshadow all over the lid and raised it till just under the brow bone blending blending blending. Then I got my black eyeshadow from coastalscents and dusted that on the outer corners of the lid extending it a little inward on the crease. I got a natural eyeshadow color and brushed it on as a subtle highlight and then bam Your done. Just add some eyeliner and Mascara and you are ready to go. This look is very easy and perfect for a dinner date or in my case, a day in the office. Also, make sure to groom your brows as this adds more depth to your look. I hope this was helpful. Sugar Plum

So I decided to post a picture of my eyeshadow today. The eye shadows I used are all from the Coastal Scents 88 matte pallet. The top picture is a day look with light purple on the lid and a taupe and gold in the crease and extended a little above with an almost skin color highlight. I have on N.Y.C. Shimmery black eyeliner with a wing at the end and Cover girl Lash blast on my eyelashes. YES those are my real eyelashes. For the second picture I stood with the same concept except I darkened the lid with a deeper purple almost like a purplish blue and then just darkened the taupee gold color i had on before. To complete this look just add some really pretty bronzer to the cheek with some contouring and a pretty nude lip color and you are ready to go. This is perfect for any type of Holiday party's that you may be attending this Christmas and or New Years. Its a great way to spice up the average everyday brown and neutral colors. HOT BUY / NO MATERNITY CLOTHES?

So I took my sister shopping this weekend to find her some maternity pants. Yes "maternity" as in "pregnant" and we first looked in K-MART since I was there picking up a layaway. And to my suprise they didnt have a maternity clothing section. We were like okay thats cool. I figured we would go to Wal-mart since I had to pick up a few things anyways. So we go and we are looking everywhere. So I ask one of the workers if they had a maternity section and she said no they took it out! I was like WHAT? and the lady was like I know, I guess they don't think women get pregnant anymore or they don't want any women to get pregnant anymore. I thought that was funny. So by that time i was already over shopping. I couldnt believe that Wal-Mart out of everyone didn't even have a maternity section. But luckily we remembered Target did. So we went to Target and they had like only one or two options for Maternity Jeans. Now my sister is short and all of these pants were extremely long. So we just said forget the jeans and we bought her some velour pants instead. Man I hope that if I ever get pregnant again that I dont get too big to where I cant fit into the pants I have now because its a brutal world out there for pregnant women on a budget.

One good thing that came out of going to Wal-Mart is that I found these really cute L.e.i. boots for sale. They are $35.00 and I think they are fabulous! They looked so cute over my skinny ripped jeans I bought at Charlotte Russe. I never buy shoes at Wal-Mart but these are good quality and very very cute. Tis' the Season

Christmas time! Need I say more? This is definitley my favorite time of the year even more than my birthday. You give and you receive! But keep in mind its not all about the receiving, although it is nice, it's not what the Holiday is about. God blessed this earth whith Jesus during this special holiday. And we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thank God for sending us his Son who eventually died on the Cross for our sins. Now those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their Hearts are set free of all iniquities. We are promised a new life in him. That my friends is the greatest Gift anyone can receive. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are SICK AND TIRED of being SICK AND TIRED then guess what, I have great news for you. You are just a Prayer away from eternal salvation and a new life in him. Give God a try and he will never let you down. If you want to accept Jesus into your life just say this simple prayer:

Lord, I come to you with an open heart and an open mind and I ask for your forgiveness of my sins. I know you are the author of life and I believe that you died on the cross for my sins. I ask you today to come into my heart and direct my path from here on out. I cant do it on my own so I am turning to you for guidance and direction. I will live my life from this day forward with a clean slate and a new positive outlook on life. Thank you for never giving up on me. I love you and I praise you. In the name of Jesus AMEN.

If you truley meant that prayer with all of your heart and you are wanting to change then I encourage you to look for a good church near you and get fed the word of God. Bond with people in the church as those are going to be the people who will lift you up when you are down. They will pray with you and be there every step of the way. I suggest if you are young or a teen that you look for a church with a good Youth ministry. If you are a college student and young adult I suggest you find a church that has people your age who can relate to the things you are going through and who you can mesh with.
