So I decided to do something a little different today and play around with some shadow colors I have been loving and this is what I came up with. Since it is "Spring" and Easter is around the corner I thought this would be a perfect look. Products I used were:
Mac Painterly Paint pot of course
Coastal Scents Pallet.
NYC Eyeliner
Covergirl Lashblast Mascara.

To see the exact colors used visit my youtube @ :

Purple Shmirple

So I have really been diggin the purple eyeshadows lately. Why you may ask? I have no clue haha. If you notice, I really like dark dramatic makeup. And because I have my coastal scents Pallet with every color eyeshadow I like to play around with them. Since I wear a lot of black its easier to wear different color eyeshadows because everything goes with black! Anyways, Just thought I would post my makeup for today. I havent been posting blogs alot lately but in a few days I can share some exciting news with you guys. :) Stay on the look out for it. Have a uniquely awesome day. GOD BLESS.

This is my version of Sexy Date night Valentine Day Makeup. Its a bit dramatic but can always be toned down a little depending on  your liking. I started off with MAC Painterly Paint Pot and applied it all over the eye area. Then I used my POP Beauty makeup kit and added a light shimmery color all over the lid, into the tear duct and under the inner half of my lower eye. Then I used my Coastal Scents Matte Pallet and used the bright pink that is five rows in from the right up one. And I applied it all over my crease and  up to just under the highlight area of your brow bown. Then I added Black to the outer corder and brought it on the outer 1/4 of my lid and into the crease,. Then I added the pink to the bottom half of my eyes and added black to the bottom 1/4. I then added thick eyeliner using N.Y.C Liquid liner and added Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara to my top and bottom lashes. Finish this look off with a very light peachy pink blush. Some contouring and a nice shimmery nude lip. To see my tutorial on it visit my YouTube page: www.youtube.com/rsjrodriguez . I hope you enjoyed this post. Have a uniquely awesome day and GOD BLESS!

OH-SO-PEACHIE

Today I was in such a hurry for work because I woke up late so I did my makeup in the car. Well honestly, I almost always do my makeup in the car on my way to work. I KNOW I KNOW thats horrible and yes I am "one of those girls". lol. Well I decided to do something different and go for a peachie corralie look. I dont have Mascara on in these pictures because as I was parked in the parking lot of my office doing my eyeliner, My Boss pulls up so I stopped what I was doing and went to my office. lol. He was like....Hanging out in the parking lot huh. hahaha I was like "NO just finishing up my makeup" and he laughs haha.
So basiclly what I did was prime my eyes with Rubenesque paint pot from MAC. Then I took my trusty coastal scents pallet out and put on an orange eyeshadow on my lid. I used a fluffy brush for this only because I didnt want it too orange. Once I applied that over my lid, I then took a pretty corral color and took the same brush used for my lid and circled the corral color to my crease and extended it up and out. I was going to leave it like that, very simple but then I decided to take a brown shadow and add it to the crease. Then I took a flesh like color shadow and used it as my highlight. As you can see I put black liner on and never got to finish with Mascara. This is a very simple look that I actually really like. I might have to check out that new collection from Bobby Brown that is filled with Corral colors. This is good for Summer to get that beachy look. Hope you guys enjoyed. Have a Uniquely awesome day fit for a Queen like you! GOD BLESS.

Makeup of the Day

Today I went for a more defined look. I didnt do really any blending. What I did was I applied my Painterly Paint pot from MAC. Then I took my Coastal Scents 88 matte pallet and I took the color just diagnal from the black (up one and to the left) and I applied it all over my lid, into my crease and onto my bone to give it that elongaded cat eye effect. Then I took that same color and applied it onto the bottom outer half of my eye. Then I took a really pretty highlight color from my POPbeauty makeup kit and dusted that on the inner corner and picked it up just a bit on and over the brown color on the corner of my upper eye lid. Then I dusted it onto my brow bone. After that I added a little bit of black to the outer ">" of my eye and took the light left over into my crease. This just adds a little bit of demension. Then since my whole eye is pretty much dark I just took a MAC black eyeliner pencil and lined my eyelids very lightly and added my Cover girl Lashblast Mascara. I think if you have darker features that a not so blended out look will look very nice on you. and compliments your features. I hope you likes this. Please leave a comment of any other looks you would like to see. Have an awesome day and GOD BLESS.
