Ring of the Day

I went to my sisters babyshower last weekend and this lady was there who sells homemade jewlery. My sisters Mother in law had previously bought this ring from her and as soon as I saw it and tried it on I had to have it! Unfortunatley the lady didnt have her jewlery with her so I put my order in! I got it yesterday at my nephews Birthday party. I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE IT! It was $10.00 and the band is stretchy so it will fit any finger comfortably. The roundness of the actual front fits nice too because the circle curves in to fit your finger so it is not sticking out and picking you or someone else. lol. I also puchased another ring yesterday which I will wear and post tomorrow. I love handmade homemade stuff, especially jewlery! Im a sucker for it. It's somehting I have always wanted to do for a hobby. Well I hope you enjoyed this short little post. Have a Uniquely Awesome day. GOD BLESS.

Mini Haul

I dropped my husband off at church last night because him and a couple of guys were setting up for Super bowl Sunday which we are having at my church. So since I really didnt want to be there with a bunch of guys  I decided to go look for a dress for Tomorrow. I am going to my Best Friends mom and dads 25th wedding anniversary. They are re-doing their vowels in the same church they got married in and then having a reception after. Unfortunatley I cant make it to the wedding part because I have a baby shower to go to but I still needed a dress for the reception. So I went to this one little fahion store by my church and found a really cute dress. It was Navy Blue with a bunch of big red flowers all over it. Man that right there was a daring piece for me. I am not really into all that flowery stuff. Although I wish I was. So I tried it on and loved it and as I was getting ready to buy it I remembered there was another store a couple of doors down that i wanted to check out. So I put the dress back and just left with the Headband shown above ($1.99)  for my daughter and a simple long white cami ($4.00).  So I went to check out the other store and found a couple of dresses I liked but nothing that would be better than the other one until I came across this one. YES the one shown above. I know I know its black! And I am trying to stay away from black but it was just too cute on. I love the detailing on the neck line and the shoulders and the back is a razer back! Its really cute it flows straight down and is a mini dress. at the botton it has like the bubble dress feel in that it comes in tight under the fabric to clinch your thighs without looking like it. It still looks flowy. It was $30.00 which was not too bad but the other one was only $21.00. I still cant get that dres sout of my head so I am thinking I am going to go back for it. It is one of those dresses where you can wear as it or add a blazer on top, maybe a scarf and leggins and it would look completly different. AHHH I am in love! WITH FLORAL PRINT??!?!?!?! CRAZY! hahaha. Ok guys I am just rambling now. So I hope you enjoyed this mes sof a blog and Ill see you in the next. Have a uniquely awesome day. GOD BLESS.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation Review

I just recently jumped on the ban wagon of people who are either using, have used or just tried out the Revlon Colorstay foundation. I went to Wal-mart on Tuesday and purchased this very excitedly! Of course my husband was like "You and your MAKEUP!" hahaha. Man I love him for putting up with my love of makeup. So of course first thing on Wednesday morning I put this on. One thing I did notice is that is that it drys up fairly quickly. I dont mean like a cracky dry or anything. I am talking about you know when you get your foundation a lot of people (I BEING ONE OF THEM) like to dot their face on their cheeks, forehead, chin nose before they spread the foundation. Well when you do this the foundation sets into your skin fairly quickly so you have to spread it around almost immediatly. After I figured that out I just started working one side at a time. I am not saying its a bad thing that it sets into your skin quickly because that just means that it is adhearing to your skin and that allows the foundation to stick well and cover more. Another thing I have learned is that if you use a sponge and add like one or two drops of water to the sponge this will help you blend the color out better and help it not dry so quickly. I purchased the NORMAL / DRY SKIN combination in 320 TRUE BEIGE. Now I am a MAC NC40 and I think this color blends perfectly with my skin. I really like this foundation. I tend to pick at my face alot which is the worse habbit you could possibly have so I always have a red face and this foundation matched with Mac concealer and Studio fix powder works wonders for me. Not all of us have naturally beautiful clear skin and therefore we need to work harder at covering and use more products. I think for the price of this foundation it is well worth it! I highly suggest you go out and try it if you have not done so already. If you have a different opinion or have noticed any thing else good or bad about this product please leave me a comment because I have only been using this for 3 days now and would love to know if there is anything I should look out for. Thank you for reading this post.I hope you have a beautiful and blessed day. *REMEMBER TO PUT GOD FIRST ALWAYS! GOD BLESS.

DISCLAIMER: This product was not sent to me. It was purchased with my own money. I am not getting paid for this blog post. It is my own opinion and no one is forced to go out and buy it. But I do recommend this product! :0)
